In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
Add in the onion powder, salt, pepper and flour and mix well for just about 15 seconds. It will thicken quickly.
Add in the chicken broth and mix well. Add in the almond milk and stir again, whisking until everything is combined.
Continue stirring over medium heat for 5-8 minutes, or until the soup thickens.
Add in the cooked chicken and mix well.
Store the soup in a glass mason jar in the refrigerator to use in your favorite recipe.
